If You Have a Medical Emergency

dial 911 immediately. Otherwise, if you have an urgent medical need that cannot wait until regular office hours, you may call (205) 877-2761. In accordance with current regulations, narcotics and other controlled substances cannot be prescribed via telephone. In the interest of maintaining quality patient care, it is our policy that we do not phone in narcotics or other controlled substances outside of regular office hours. Severe pain that requires narcotics should be evaluated in person by a physican.
