Dr. Gregory Mayberry grew up in rural Tennessee farming cattle and participated in Future Farmers of America. He graduated from Tennessee Technological University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and as a certified Emergency Medical Technician. He then earned his medical degree from Saba University in the Netherlands before moving to Birmingham to complete his residency in Family Medicine at Ascension St. Vincent’s where he was elected Chief Resident. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine and has been in practice in the Birmingham area since 2015. He is joining Internal Medicine Specialists in December 2026. Dr. Mayberry is married with three children.
